Take a look. It's in a book...

Having been ridiculously busy with school the last 8 months, I haven't read as much as I usually would. So with summer approaching I look forward to spending some evenings and weekend afternoons enjoying the sun and diving into some entertaining books. On my list:

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith

Because I love Jane Austen and the undead are entertaining.

Books #2-5 of the Olympian Series by Rick Riordan

I read the first one and enjoyed all the mythology references.

Odd Hours by Dean Koontz

Dean Koontz is one of my favorite authors. Stories with slightly twisted realities. This is the fourth in the Odd Thomas series but for any of you wanting to check out Koontz, my favorite book would have to be Lightning.

The Diving Bell and the Butterfly by Jean-Dominique Bauby and Jeremy Laggatt

I've also wanted to see the film based on this. This is the memoir of Bauby, who suffered a stroke. It leaves him with a functioning brain but unable to speak or move (Locked-In-Syndrome) except for his left eye. He develops a way of communicating through blinking and pens this memoir through a translator.

So that's what is on the list to begin with. Do you have a reading list you are working on or good books to recommend?

You should read "Dark Rivers of the Heart" by Dean Koontz. Totally creepy. Very Good!
