I first heard about Burning Man when I lived in Reno, Nevada. Have you heard of it? It's a festival that meets once a year at the Black Rock Desert. Black Rock City comes to life for a week of art, costumes, experiences and people that culminates in the burning of a giant strucure...hence Burning Man. I would love to attend in the near future...

Also, if you are in the Utah County area...try our local burning man of sorts this weekend at the Pagent of the Ramayana. Sounds like a lot of fun with devotional chanting, dancing, indian food and the burning of a 20 ft. Ravana.

There's a local Burn chapter called Element 11 :). They have their burn a little earlier in the summer out at SeaBase.
