I've always loved the look of water towers. In the 1800s when the buildings in cities were being built taller then ever, they had to come up with a solution to get water pressure to the higher floors. New York City required that all buildings higher than six stories be equipped with a rooftop water tower. I hope to see some of these in person someday!
