{Watertowers}

I've always loved the look of water towers. In the 1800s when the buildings in cities were being built taller then ever, they had to come up with a solution to get water pressure to the higher floors. New York City required that all buildings higher than six stories be equipped with a rooftop water tower. I hope to see some of these in person someday!

So it is finally here!  Fall, autumn, harvest time!  My favorite time of the year!!  The temperatures are dropping and the leaves are changing colors.

{Mosaic Monday: Demolition Art}

I love the outlines of what used to be. Aren't they cool? Some of them remind me of the back of a dollhouse. I've seen a few 'ghost buildings' around downtown Provo that need to be captured. Check out the flickr group dedicated to these images: The Unconscious Art of Demolition.
